The Timothy Ministry

Second Timothy 2:1-2,

"You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also."

The Timothy Ministry is a new discipleship ministry for men who are serious about growing in their faith and becoming true disciples of Jesus Christ. The ministry will be led by Pastor Don every Tuesday night beginning with a light meal for those who can make it at 6:30 with training beginning at 7:00 PM in the activity center.

The ministry will include all aspects of the Christian life and is intended to produce a well-rounded fully-devoted follower of Jesus Christ. The methodology will include such things as biblical and theological studies, Scripture memorization, reading assignments, leadership skills, interaction with other Timothy members, question and answer time with Pastor Don, training on how to be a better husband and father and much more.

In addition, men will have the opportunity to pray and worship together. Since some have less available time, those wishing to participate may enroll in one of three levels of difficulty. All men of FBC are invited to take advantage of this unique, life changing opportunity.
